A cat named Browser lived in the White Settle Gate Public Library in the United States for 6 years. During this period, he not only worked hard to catch mice for the library, but also regarded the library as his warm home. But just recently, the library management suddenly made the decision to drive it away.

Many library guests have quit working. They think cats are like library staff and bring people a lot of joy and comfort. The decision to expel it was so inhumane. The library explained that the cat did get along well with everyone in the library, and it never tore up books. It was because they received complaints from some guests about why the library refused them to bring dogs to the library, but allowed a cat to stay inside.

So in order not to favor any party, the library asked the city council to vote, and the result was that the cat was evicted. But ironically, the decision to let the cat into the library was also the result of a vote by the city council. The library was suffering from a rat infestation at the time, so the cat was allowed to come in to catch rats. People with common sense know that cats are very home-loving animals, so when it has considered the library as its home, it will be very uncomfortable if it is given a different environment.

The cat is still in the library for the time being, and the council requires it to leave before July 12th.
