Former Arsenal midfielder Thomas was charged with five counts of rape and one count of sexual assault on three victims between 2021 and 2022 after three years of police investigation. Thomas' attorneys' statement said Thomas denied all charges, The Athletic reported.
Thomas' attorney acting in charge of Hickman and Ross Law Firm Jenny Wilt Hill issued a statement saying: "Thomas denies all charges. During the three-year investigation, he always cooperates with the work of the police and the Crown Prosecution Service. At this moment, he values the opportunity to finally prove his innocence. Given that the legal process has been initiated, it is inconvenient for my clients to comment further."
Thomas case will be held in Westminster District Court on August 5 local time.
