ESPN reported that Naples is negotiating with Manchester United on loan.

Naples are looking to find a replacement for Lukaku before the transfer deadline, and they have turned their attention to Hoylen after four months of being diagnosed with a thigh injury. Hoylen was included in the list of players for sale by Manchester United as he signed Sheshko from Red Bulls Leipzig.

Naples is currently negotiating for loan to Hoylen, which includes the option or mandatory clause to sign him permanently next summer. Manchester United valued the Danish international at about £40 million, and his current contract has three years left.

Hoylen did not make the roster in the first two matches of the Premier League in the new season against Arsenal and Fulham. In the last friendly match against Fiorentina in the summer, although he was selected as the substitute, he did not get a chance to play.

Hoylen transferred from Atlanta to Manchester United in 2023 with an initial £64 million. He scored 10 goals in the Premier League in his first season, but the Danish international declined last season and scored only 4 goals in 32 Premier League appearances.

This summer, AC Milan, Juventus, Fulham and Celtic all showed interest in Hoylen. During Manchester United's US preseason, he said that he would rather stay in the team, but with Sheshko joining, his chances of playing are expected to be significantly reduced; and before the World Cup arrives next summer, he is eager to get as much time as possible.
