According to Everton official website, Everton coach Moyes was awarded the OBE today in recognition of his coaching contributions for more than 20 years.

The Scottish coach's 716 Premier League coaching games were second only to Wenger and Sir Ferguson. Since starting his coaching career from Preston in 1998, Moyes has successively taken charge of Everton (first time), Manchester United, Real Sociedad, Sunderland and West Ham United, and regained the Toffees coaching stick in January this year.

As the third-time coach of the English Football League Coaches Association, Moyes commanded 538 games in two terms at Everton, and his first coaching lasted from March 2002 to June 2013, lasting more than 11 years.

In response to this, Moyes said: "This is a great honor and is an extraordinary moment for me and my family. My father and son have been awarded the Medal of the Lord (MBE). Now both generations of our father and son have been awarded, and the whole family is very proud.

"Witnessing the good deeds of other winners has made me humbler, from charity workers to anti-cancer pioneers, and then to drug rehabilitation patriots. It is a great honor to be able to receive honors on the same stage with them. ”

"He (Prince William) congratulated us on our achievements in Everton, and also talked about Aston Villa's outstanding performance in recent years, his words were filled with love for the home team. The crown prince and his son are obsessed with football, and the award of medals makes this moment meaningful. ”
