Manchester City goalkeeper Donaluma was interviewed after winning the Yassin Award and talked about topics such as his feelings about returning to Paris, winning the award and leaving Paris Saint-Germain.
How do you feel when you return to Paris and win the Yassin Award?
It was a very happy thing for me to come back here. This is my home for four years and I am really happy to be welcomed like this. I gave everything here, I gave everything for Paris, and I really have to thank the fans because they gave me real rewards, too. It was an honor for me and we achieved incredible results, so thank the team, my former teammates, and it was because of them that I was able to stand here tonight.
Is there still some bitterness to leave Paris Saint-Germain?
The most important thing for me is to win collective honors, and individual awards come with them. It's been an extraordinary season for Paris Saint-Germain and my former teammates. They deserve the award, too. I have nothing to digest because I am in an extraordinary club and they have given me strong support. I hope to win a lot with Manchester City.
