Local stock markets opened on Wednesday (June 4), but the decline was not large. As of 9:04 a.m., the Straits Times index fell 0.07% or 2.92 points to 3891.46 points.

CapitaLand Ascendas REIT led the decline in the Haixi Index constituent stocks at the opening, with the share price falling 1.91% to 2.57 yuan; the remaining constituent stocks that opened and fell between 0.03% and 1%.

Most of the constituent stocks of the Sea Index rose, with DFI Retail Group (DFIRG) rising the most, with the share price starting at 1.89% to US$2.7 (approximately SGD3.48); the remaining rising constituent stocks rose between 0.06% and 1.23%.

The total trading volume was 58.11 million shares and the transaction volume was 89.78 million yuan. There were 87 stocks rising and 44 stocks falling.
