Due to the decline in demand, the government will reduce the number of new industrial lots to launch, and launch five industrially selected lots and one spare lot in the second half of this year, with a total area of 7.43 hectares, nearly half of the first half of the year.
The Ministry of Trade and Industry stated that the government will continue to issue lots through the government's industrial land sale plan to ensure sufficient supply of industrial lots.
The Ministry of Trade and Industry issued a statement on Monday (June 30) saying that the Government Industrial Land Sales Plan (IGLS) has five selected areas in the second half of the year, two fewer than in the first half of the year. The government has also prepared a picture of alternative areas for developers to pick them up, two less than in the first half of the year.
The only reserved location is located on Tuas Road.
The five selected locations in the second half of the year are: located in Penjuru Lane, Penjuru Road, Plot A Tuas Bay Drive, Pandan Road and Kaki Bukit Avenue 5.
